| A lot of you are very good at drawing. I was thinking, maybe some of you guys can make a manga/anime series? Just a suggestion. This way, the wiki would be able to fill in the diet, behavior, etc. of Pokemon.

Anime would definately be a hard one, there's got to be people with major skill in animation to do that. |

Anime would definately be a hard one, there's got to be people with major skill in animation to do that.

| I highly doubt so. The manga is supposed to be based off the storyline of the games, which is why the heroes of Bouncy's manga were based off the main male and the main female hero. Unless you'd appear as an actual NPC in PT itself, the odds of you being in a manga are very small. |

| I think as far as non starter's go, like the original, it'd have to be a unique case, a pokemon that doesn't often show up in the wild or something, so if they were to make it a non-starter pokemon, it'd be a pretty hard choice since the game hasn't shown what pokemon will show up in the wild or not, not conpletely anyway

| If we were to choose by number... Pikachu being number 25, the main character from here would have a Gorva! xD
Just checked this, for fun xD
Gorva is a three-stage Bug... So, maybe not the best choice for the First Poke...
I think, maybe it should be one Poke from the first Route... :P Maybe a Welion, like a "boss" from all the Dandalofts in Route 01 :P Or a "semi-semi-Legendary"... (Not like Mew, nor moltres/zapdos/articuno, but still freaking Rare). :P
If help is needed, I might help with some Stories, to fill in the Manga :)

| I can help with the storyline as well. As for the starter Pokemon, how about Lileef or Jurker? Mayflower/Lileef just seems lik it would fit as a first Pokemon to me. The player is given a Pokeball and he immediately catches the first Pokemon he sees. Jurker seems fitting as well, and it could evolve into Stritus. It is very popular among fans. Actually, forget Jurker. Trillober seems good for some reason, I don't know why. Maybe he can catch both Lileef and Jurker? |

| The issue with all our ideias, clicky, is:
All of them are of similar Typing as the Starters... So, that could be a problem... Like, why have more than one Poke of the same type in his Party?
Assuming he will get the three of them in the future...
I think bugs are kinda out of question, because they cannot be taken seriously along the plot...
For the starting point is a good choice, but what happens in the 5th Gym, with pokes so strong that they would actually stomp the bugs? xD So, Mant is off, and Gorva (number 25) is too...
Also, the Poke I was going for, was something along the lines of Pikachu, 2 stager, maybe, or even 1 stager...
Because it kinda screws the whole thing if the poke is allways evolving through the story, it would take the magic away from that epic moment... :P
So, still no actual ideias... But, get this:
Trilobur (actually, any of its evos) is like Lapras
Gambowler is like Mr. Mime
Gorva could be like Caterpie, (Meaning it would be released into the while, later in the plot).
...Gee... What to do... :P
Lots of choices, lots of things to take in consideration... :P |

| just because bug pokemon can't be taken seriously as a starter, does not mean they can't be taken seriously...especially formidable ones like worgeddon...as for who i would pick for the starter...i'll have to think about that. i'll look over all of them and edit/post my choice and an argument for it.
...and I'd like to help with the plot too. maybe GF could have a contest or take submissions for certain points. or pick five people to help with the plot based on a submission or something |

Hey, don't get me wrong, I think most of the bugs in PT are pretty cool, so, no beef with you there xD
The thing is they are not that suitable as starters, because of their "mid-life crisis" (lets call it that) xD Meaning, they are cool 'till around half the plot, and then they would be shadowed by pretty much any other pokemon in the "development" road alone, 'cuz Bugs evolve fast, but after, lets say Lv50, they become mediocre, they learn less and less usefull attacks, some of them don't even learn any attack after Lv50, so, in the most needed part of the story, they would not have so much to show... :P That's too little to work with... :P
But that's just my oppinion, of course, feel free to disagree... :P |
