I could easily allow bigger emotes. And actually we could do a system where the game allows custom user created sprites. We'd upload them to some deep dark secret cave on the forums, then the graphics would be downloaded to the PT folder when you connect with someone. Allowing you to see their custom created graphics. Implementing such a system is controversial however, since inappropriate content would inevitably find it's way into the game.

Yeah. Make bigger emotes, but don't let users create their own (unless it's in a topic like this).

make a blank emote so we can design some
Is it seriously too hard for you to do?

no, I'm just lazy and also its a nice thing to do, allowing people to have a template. @gf: rather than custom emotes, what about custom frames for the emotes, like for example the frame for these emotes is a grayish-purplish border, some people might want one that's more pokemony or something. i dunno im just pitching ideas...

A bit like in the options screen, you can normally change the textbox/menu style etc.

it belongs just as much here as the patch request topic seeing as the feature is to do with emoticons.

Though it does overlap with other things, like textboxes.

no it doesnt. don't even argue it, it may be similiar but it doesnt overlap with it. not to mention its mentioned here because its to do with emoticons. i mean it overlaps with the off topic topic because of the insane talk of emotes. that overlaps with the shoutbox =O omg that overlaps with the forums and wait! that overlaps with THE INTERNET! OH MY GOD!

Maybe an emote with each of the player's faces on? Or a couple of pokemon dolls?

I don't really see the need for rock paper scissor emotes. but thats completely besides the point, theres no need for any emotes, but its nice to have them.

With the rock, paper, scissors ones you can play a little game. No-one is going to want to reference a type of ball though.

yea you're right. I'm not gonna brag about catching something with an expert ball or mention an event pokemon being in a cheese ball. and rock paper scissors would go like this Lody: ok gf rock paper scissors Lody: Rock! <a moment passes> Game Fortress: Paper! and the same would happen if there was a special button for the emote.

*bump* ...wait! my god what have I done? did I just... why yes I did. I stopped people from necro-posting by doing the most obvious thing and bumping the previous active topic. now I'd like to know whether my different pokeball emotes idea was good and which of the two sprites I posted is better.
