At the beginning of the game you battle that guy with the Spickle by the lake. Is it supposed to be green and shiny?

Yep. I'm guessing that's the way you can tell it apart from all the other rocket spickle in the game.

Yeah; it's Farlgrove Town's special Spickle, which that Team Rocket member stole and is using against you.
