well when i went across the water in the 2 caves... there were a to of little landings about 20-30 tiles from the main cave. just about ALL of these are empty and you cannot seem to encounter pokemon in some of these. I was just wondering are these meant to be there, waiting to be filled or just a mistake while the area was being created? its really annoying me and i want an answer! please.
oh and secondly when you are crossing the huge mass of water near Ochre Island if you go across then down there is a small area with one guy who says, "I'm lost. I'm sure [insert city name here] is around here somewhere." and then when you move far to the left near where the line of Barrier Rocks in the water you can see a path randomly going down the side of the Plateau-like wall. Im just curious as to exactly WHAT this is. I found while i was searching for Pikara Desert. Is it some Long-Forgotten secret area or IS it the Pikara desert or a glitch?

We wanted to present lots of exploration areas. More hidden items will be added to the game later as we add items into the game. Giving you reason to go back and search. In general, the game will be a little more open than other pokemon games. There won't necessarily be a point to every empty patch. There won't be a hidden item at the end of every path, and sometimes exploration will be for the fun of exploration. Diligent explorers will be rewarded though :)
