Well, its name is Teddigrand, so grand probably means it isn't a microbe but it's rather big. Besides, the teddi part may be from "teddybear" because it's so fluffy.

Kokomo is pretty cool - my favorite part is the teeth I wonder where we'll be able to find it...
Probably the jungle area a screenshot was shown of a while ago — if that ever gets released :P
I'm really excited to see a jungle in PT! I really thought there should have been a jungle in a regular pokemon game but they never did... the closest they got was a jungle in pokemon ranger...

It's not a bug... and it certainly doesn't look like one.
This one look like a bug Image but your right it's not a bug, I just naturally made that assumption without even knowing. perhaps water steel would make more sense for teddigrand's typing, seeing as tardigrade are fairly resilient. (They can survive space, radiation, high and low pressures among many other things)

It doesn't look steel either though and I can make it resiliant with the base stats and ability. No need for the type to handle that. The type should reflect how it looks and what attacks it will be using.

I did some research and most articles actually state that the tardigrade is in fact a bug (although I agree that the sprite doesnt look like one). Water/Bug would be very logical for a tardigrade but it can be different with teddigrand :P It could be Normal/Water , Normal/Ice, Normal/Steel, Water/Steel, Water/Bug, ... etc

Well, I think we can all agree it should at least be Water type, right? :P

I think it looks like it might also be a ground type, but that's just my opinion. Considering that besides just inhabiting water, tardigrade have been reported to be found in the Himalayas, under ice, in hot springs, and other locations. So maybe it can change types depending on its location?

It doesn't look very ground type at all, it is the color of a normal type pokemon aside from a couple tiny brown spots and the large blue areas. Brown doesn't mean ground type, if it did then Bibarel would be ground type instead of normal/water. Its not going to change types because that makes no sense based on its looks or the animal its based on.

Looks, I can imagine. But surely if a Pokemon is based on an animal, it makes sense to give it typing that relates to that animal?

I think it looks like a ground type because it looks rather big and heavy, thus being earthbound. I wasn't talking about the color, and the only reason Bibarel is Normal is because its a beaver and a majority of animals (e.g. dogs, cats, birds) become normal types. I still think it LOOKS like a Ground type.

If any Pokemon that is big and heavy Ground-type, then why isn't every legendary Pokemon ground-type? Your theory doesn't really work. Besides typing, base stats but mainly abilities and movepools can change how it can fight so the typing doesn't really matter that much in how it fights but rather what it looks like.

I don't think Celebi is big and heavy.
