| @The_E - No, but that'd be easy to cheat. Train one pokemon to level 100, then release the rest.
@KingOfTheKeyboard - Not exactly competitive though.

| Ya, cause people are going to waste their time grinding levels to be number 1.
Besides, if 1 person trains 1 pokemon to lvl 100, why can't you train one to level 150?

| But I don't see why someone would release all their non Lv 100s just to get on a Leaderboard.. Unless there was a reward...
I've got another idea: No. of times defeated by Gym Leader
This would show you how long it took you to actually beat a Gym Leader. For cheating reasons, the information would be sent right when your last pokemon faints. Otherwise, they could just quit and not have it count. |

I would.
The levels are capped at 100 until after the e4, where the limit is raised to 150. |

| How about "total levels raised", so that:
#1: Catching higher level pokemon wont help as much, its only based on the number of levels that were progressed through after catching AND
#2: There wont be a cap at the leaderboard for all the "Level 150'ers"

1. Lower pokemon are easier to level - you'd just get the level 2s and level up them, which would defeat the point.
2. Don't really get this one. |

| Yeah, right after posting I realized 1 didnt help anything. And if you used average level instead of total level then the highest your leaderboard score would be is 150 (the level cap I presume). But really my idea didn't fix anything. |

| That's the problem with quite a few ideas. They're good concepts, but there would be ways to cheat the system. |

| we will do leaderboards for total levels gained. I don't care if someone "cheats" the system. If you sit there training level 2's with exp share to get to the top, then good for you. There will be other leaderboards to cover "most exp gained total" if you want a more "fair" judgement of your pokemon training skills. We'll have fun ones in there for kicks.

What if you went afk?
Also, even if you had level 150s, you'd still be limited by how fast the battle system is and how quick your fingers are. |
