| Its mostly behind the scenes dumb work. Stuff you won't notice anyway. Lots of spriting has been done for sure. The pokemon sprites are almost 100% complete now. So all pokemon will be ready to add into the game.
Bob has been working on attack sets and base stats as always. Pain in the rear, but has to be done by someone. He's also been scripting custom attacks.
As soon as I get the GMK I'm going to rebalance all the trainers to be the correct strength in relation to your progress in the game. After that we've just got to finish up russet, put the rest of the secret bases in, update all the graphics ( which is tedious ) then we're done. We'll see how popular PTV5 is, then we'll decide whether we're going to finish the project after that.
Anything else you'd like to know?

| well most stories have a start, confliction/problem, climax and resolution/conclusion.
Pokemon Twilight has a start, and I'm guessing once it's done it's gonna go all the way to the conclusion/resolution.
Don't expect game fortress to spoil the whole thing.

| No plot line spoilers at this point. But the storyline right now does not disappoint :) |

| How many gyms are then in all regions? 8.
How many towns are there? Look on the map in-game.

| if V5 is popular enough we will finish the game completely. 8 Gyms, Elite 4, the whole potato. If the finished game has enough popularity we will then add another region to Pokemon Lunar/Solar. |

| Well, or make Dawn and Dusk, or something similar. |

| No, not Dawn and Dusk. That's the name I chose for my two versions of the game I'm working on. I was going to do Lunar and Solar originally, but then I found out about Pokemon Twilight and had to change it.

| Just because you've chosen the name, doesn't mean someone else can't too
Anyway, that's a long way off, so no need to worry quite yet. |

| Yeah, I know it isn't set in stone that I get to use the names. Oh well, I'll just beat you to it! :D |

| Yeah, I just went through all the coding I've already done, and I'm closer to finishing than I thought. I only really need to finish some parts of the battle system. |

| If I got a dollar for every different fan made pokemon game I heard about that was "almost finished" I'd be rich. Pokemon Twilight helps that statistic lol.
If we made two entirely different pokemon versions, it wouldn't be dawn and dusk because its a little cliche, I've seen many projects with that name, also, it would be DS style graphics.
And I hate to admit it but DM is right, even if you chose those names, we could still use them. You can't copyright something Nintendo has already copyrighted. XD |

| I completely agree with your stance on the fan-games, and the names being a little cliche. However, I'm not making a fan game, I only based the mechanics of my game off of Pokemon's style. And may I point out that PT is a fan-game, and is supposedly "nearly finished"? Hasn't V5 supposed to have been out for about a year or so now? The only thing that was holding me back from having finished my game by now is the fact that I've been doing everything completely on my own, including learning to code and sprite from scratch. I'd say that for a complete beginner such as myself to get this close to finishing a game of any sort is at least a decent achievement, wouldn't you? And I've been doing all the coding with Game Maker lite, so I've had to work around that.
--edit--
And I know that if you chose to use Dawn and Dusk, I couldn't stop you, but that doesn't mean I couldn't use them myself, either. |

| we don't know how good your pokemon game is though.
even with all the right coding it still might not be good.
and pokemon twilight has online, does yours?
pokemon twilight has the ability to upload pokemon to this very forum, does yours?
PT has been almost finished for a long time cos gf keeps coming up with ideas.
so PT obviously is constantly delayed because of pot jks, gf probly could come up with it without drugs |

| My game, when finished, will have online capabilities if there are people other than myself who want to play it. If it's just me, then I'm obviously not going to go through the trouble of setting up an online connection. And my game is good. I've been refining the story for about three years now, even before I started to make it an actual game. And one last thing... It's not a Pokemon game! |

| so that means if you use the names lunar and solar it wouldnt matter. cos it wouldnt be pokemon lunar and solar. |

Completely true. I'm not saying you can't use those names, I only said that I wanted my names to be original. But it seems that everyone uses lunar and solar, so I'm probably going to come up with new version names anyway. Besides, I changed my legendaries and they no longer match the version names. I might as well update it. |

| Oh, it's not a pokemon game? It just uses the same style sprites and same style of gameplay? |
