Due to Twitter breaking website embeds this year I've decided to go ahead and start posting my dev news on the forum. A big benefit to this is I will probably post dev news a lot more often and you guys can comment on it without needing a twitter account. I'll be embedding the news posted by me on this topic directly into the Pyco Mundi website where the twitter integration used to be. The first 5 posts will just be me copy/pasting in the old messages.

Todays project was adding text-to-speech pronunciations of all Pycotroph names to the Pycopedia. In the process, I realized there's at least a dozen names I'd like to change. I've also been adding new spriteless Pycotrophs to the Pycopedia. I hope to have 250 in there soon with an end goal of 255 for the final release.

Through a lot of brainstorming I have added a ton of new Status Conditions to the game. Now every type (except basic and cosmic) will have an associated status condition. The exact numbers are all placeholders: https://www.pycomundi.wiki/wiki/Status_Condition

I have removed the twitter integration from the Pyco Mundi website because it doesn't work anymore. Honestly, I'll probably post news updates more often now that I don't have to load up a separate twitter account for it.

I've created 3 new Status Conditions for 3 of the special types. Phased for Flux type, Veiled for Void type and Inspired for Adaptive type. You can read about them here.

I've decided to take the Pyco Mundi Wiki offline for now because the hosting costs increased and it doesn't serve much of a purpose until the game is out. I'll still be working on the wiki on my computer, so when it comes back it will be more complete.

It's still a work in progress but I've been hard at work updating the layout and design of the Movedex. I've also added a filter for single type moves and made it so that the single and dual type filter play nice with the other filters. Once this work is complete, I will be taking advantage of a new database management tool I've created to start the real work on populating the movedex with complete and accurate move info.

It's been awhile since I've looked in on this site, but it's amazing to see this is still ongoing. I loved Pokemon Twilight, and I just want you to know that I look forward to seeing Pyco Mundi when you get something you're proud of ready. Thanks for all the work you put into this.

As part of my rework of the movedex, as well as to make up for taking the wiki offline, I've added a few of the wiki pages to the website. Their appearance isn't finalized but I've added Status Conditions, Stats and Type Effectivess. The movedex links to these pages when mentioning something relevant in the Extra Info section.

I have just completed the first phase of the moveset project. The pycopedia and movedex now support listing movesets and all first stage Pycotrophs now have a set of 4 Simple Moves. As part of this project, I introduced quite a few new simple moves to the movedex so that we don't see the same 10 moves over and over throughout the game. I have 2 projects I'm going to work on next, simple moves for evolutions (mostly a copy/paste of the first stage) and deciding on the actual battle formulas so I can stop using placeholder move power numbers.
