I've used my mystery gift on a profile then decided to start afresh but I can't re gain my gift I need some help...

What happened exactly? If you entered your forum ID in order to receive an item and later erased your game, aren't you able to do it again on a different save even if you use the same ID?

Go to a blue computer in either your own home or a PokéCenter. Use the "Connect" option and log in with your forum credentials. Then select "Mystery Gift" and there you go.
