| Just announced on the internet by Ubisoft
IGN - Assassins Creed IV
What's the opinion ? I do love the series but its becoming a bit too much. I feel releasing a game every year kill's a franchise. Also an interesting time zone period with pirates clearly going to be involved.

| I've still only played a very small portion of the first game, someday I will get around to beating it =p They are releasing way too many games though, it has more releases in the past 6 years than most series have had in the past 15 years.

Exactly what i mean, releasing too many games in such a short time frame leads to the death of a series. Ubisoft need to end the series and not drag it on much longer or its going to be another annual gaming release like Call of Duty or any sporting game (same boring stuff only more shiny ). |

| I've liked every AC game so far, so I'm definately buying this one too And as long as Ubisoft keeps the games fresh I'm fine with them releasing them annually, as it shouldn't become like COD. The setting and assassin seem very interesting. I'm also wondering how they will handle the modern part of the game.. (I've heard that you will play 'you' as an employee at Abstergo Entertainment, in first person)

| I'm currently up to revelations, and I'm really not enjoying it anymore. It's practically the same game as Brotherhood, just in a different setting. There are hardly any new features and the story isn't that great. This looks good though.

| Im not a fan of this, I was kool with the other assassin's because they were assassin's, that was it. The extra political side of number three and now the thievry/pirate side of this one, it just seems a little bit much, sure it could be interesting to someone else, but personally, as I said, not a fan.

Yeah, Revelations was the worst game of the series (not a bad game though). I'll wait until I know more of this game before I get too excited :P
I think the problem most people had with ACIII was that there were so much hype for it, so people were expecting something much bigger. I hope Ubi won't make the same mistake this time.
Also @ cruzer, your signature really fits the pirate theme lol |

| I didn't play any Assassins Creed game, but my best friend is obsessed with it. I think these many sequels are annoying, especialy now with this pirate theme.
