Maybe it only counts the time if you are pressing buttons (so it knows you aren't doing that).

If you go above 10 minutes between loading any pages it doesn't count, same cut off time as the active user list.

I dont get it...is it if you stay on a page for 1 hour then you'll only get 10 min added to your time.

I think that if a page is kept open longer than 10 minutes, then the time spent on that page isn't added to your time. If it is less than 10 minutes then it is added.

Well theres no way to be 100% accurate when measuring time spent on a page, this way is probably the most accurate way that is practical.
